The Environment Industries Association (EIA) is the fastest growing environmental trade association for the environmental services and technology sector in the United Kingdom.
Our mission
The EIA represents our Members from a wide spectrum of the UK Environmental Services and Technology Sector. Our purpose is to champion the UK Environmental Industries from environmental consultants to innovative environmental technology firms to universities and public bodies who have a specific interest in promoting environmental best practice. EIA also acts as voice of the UK environmental industry and to campaign for policy and regulations which support growth in the sector and to ensure a sustainable future for the environmental services and technology sector and to secure the best possible deal for our members.

We campaign for our Members
EIA is proud to lobby on behalf of our Members and to make change where change is needed around environmental policy and regulations. Our job as the voice of UK Environmental Industry sector and to ensure that our members’ businesses can thrive in the years ahead. Using our invaluable in-house policy working groups made up our members and leading guest speakers and technical experts we ensure that EIA is always on the political agenda.
We champion the sector
By securing coverage on multiple media channels we champion and defend the UK environmental services and technology sector. From influencing emerging legislation to responding to Government consultations or developing new regulatory papers we make sure our Members have a strong voice and the sector’s position is shared.

The UK environmental services and technology sector is important to us and we know there has never been a better time for the industry to help deliver growth in the economy and make a difference to our environment. We ensure our members have a sense of belonging in their technical field, engaging in national and regional debates and giving them the opportunity to make their voices heard to Government and our stakeholders.
We take our job of keeping our members informed seriously, producing a regular monthly online newsletter, easy-to-digest articles to ensure our members know what’s happening in their specific disciplines as well as the wider environmental services and technology sector when time is precious and hard to come by.
